With Ubuntu 22.04 the the template does not get an IP and Ansible waits forever.

Thanks for the report. I haven't tried the role against that version yet. I'll take a look, but this will take some time.

No progress yet, sorry. I'm currently involved in other projects. But this feature is still on our todo list.
