Starting PC DOS... screen

Hi,

After following the instructions and creating a bootable USB with the patched.x230.img When I boot to this USB, screen becomes stuck on: "Lenovo Group Limited" "Starting PC DOS.."

As far as I'm aware I've followed everything mentioned, and I'm currently on the BIOS 2.75, EC 1.14

Any ideas of suggestions?

Hi there, i had exactly same issue under these conditions/environment and managed to solve it following way: Laptop:

• X230
• i5-3320m
• 8+4Gb RAM
• 512GB Apacer SSD
• 6-cell original Lenovo battery
• BIOS: 2.75 EC: 1.14 Environment - issue present:
• Laptop plugged into 4337 docking station
• Closed lid
• External keyboard and mouse
• 2 HDMI monitors - one connected via DisplayPort-HDMI converter, the other via DVI-HDMI. Only that on DVI->HDMI was showing screen on BIOS!
• 90W adapter
• Image written to spare 16GB SSD via SATA-USB3 converter, connected to internal USB port
• Battery patch only applied
• Result: Stuck on Starting PC DOS screen Environment - issue solved!:
• Took laptop out of dock and opened lid
• Plugged in 90W adapter
• USB port unchanged(assuming not relevant at this point)
• Result: Patch applied! Or at least procedure took place.

Now i assume that it was applied and i had not tested it yet, i just decided to quickly summarize what worked for me before i forget anything. AFAIK comment can be edited any time, if not, well then i have not forgot to mention anything and new comment will be update but the important stuff will remain
