Which LLM is optimal for forecasting tropical storms? We are still currently using Microsoft's deployment of ChatGPT and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. However, there are other options that can be utilized like LLaMA, Mistral, and Claude. We have existing tools to compare the track and intensity forecasts thanks to our wonderful collaborators.

We're just now finally getting the entire picture of compliance.

We're also still early in terms of LLM architecture and the momentum of model releases. However, things are more stable now and AI researchers are not getting letters signed by everyone in the establishment to stop.
