Cannot Save Settings in DokuWiki #249

We receive this error when on the settings page;

The settings file can not be updated, if this is unintentional, ensure the local settings file name and permissions are correct.

I've tried the suggestions in this thread: https://forum.dokuwiki.org/thread/320 but they have not solved the problem.

This is a feature not a bug. When using the debian package the local.php file must be edited by hand. This is a good in a way because it allows us to better control the Braincase environment.
