yes, i pointed hamstar in the direction of sites like opencongress and votetocracy that do such things already. we of course would want to do it in a unique way but it goes to show we don't need to build that section from the ground up since there are already open APIs available for it.

Would it be feasible to pull published, pending bills from thomas . loc . gov (Library of Congress Thomas legislation database) into Legislat0r? Maybe through an automated script?
This would let individuals comment on and critique pending legislation, as well as crowd-sourced proposed legislation. It could become a great resource for individuals, organizations, businesses and even legislators comment on and review bills through a centralized resource.
