can i place a .swf file to be viewed on the main moodle page? if so, where do i place the .swf file?

hi, i installed the modules, and tried it out, and rec'd an error, thus i read 
the docs more and saw something specific about NOT placing the swf file outside 
the course folder, thus i did a test within a course and all worked good.

if id like to place the activity on the front main page, where would i place 
the .swf file

this is not a defect, this is simply a question about proper configuration/file 
placement.

Hi, the front page course files directory operates in the same way as other 
courses. You should be able to upload and deploy SWFs there.

thanks! what folder would that be, the same folder that has the index.php file, 
or is there a 'course folder' for the front page that im unfamiliar with?
