Slow to start playback #97

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Double click a song to play in an album in iTunes (Integrated Mode)
2. It loads the file, you see the sampling rate appear a few times on the DAC, 
and finally it starts playing after about 5 seconds.

or

When playing an album, when a song skips to the next one, first you hear about 
a second of something totally different (not even from the same album I think), 
and then it starts playing the next song. This whole process takes about 5 
seconds.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Since the Mac Mini is connected with gigabit to a fast NAS, I expect it to play 
fast and without those weird 1-second snippets of other songs. Without 
Audirvana, everything works fast (except not at the right sampling rate).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mac OSX 10.9.1, latest version of Audirvana.

Please provide any additional information below.
Mac Mini & an Audiolab M-DAC (Direct Mode, Integer Mode)
