What's the version of make required? #146

I run the follow commands in 'test/dependency-copy/src':
$ gyp -fmake copies.gyp

Then i try to make it:
(with GNU make 3.8.1)
$ make V=1
make: Nothing to be done for `all'.

or

(with GNU make 3.79)
$ make V=1
make: *** No rule to make target `|', needed by 
`out/Default/obj.target/proj2/file2.o'.  Stop.

And I can't see any output files in '/tmp'.
