Using freephonie.net with Wifi, it doesn't work either (cannot test on 3G/edge :
crappy gateway/proxy)

I am having same problem. When i have tried to call from sipdroid to my Bank
customer-care number then DTMF tone didn't work. Not even single digit is
detected at
sip-server. Like choose your language....etc.

The priority of this bug should be set to "High". It makes sipdroid useless as
a
phone replacement.

With version 25 (not sure what version string that corresponds to) DTMF tone
works
while accessing my regular t-mobile voicemail. Upgrading to 1.1.1, DTMF tone no
longer working. Not sure if the upgrade broke anything. I'm on WLAN as well.
Using a softphone (X-lite) on my PC with the same setup works perfectly fine,
so the
problem is likely from sipdroid...

Please, can you tell me if the call status is "connected" or "dialing"? There
is no
DTMF available during the "dialing" status.

My problem with DTMFS is if I send them slowly, then - all went correct,if I am
sending fast - pressing digits before end of tone, then there are mnissing
DTMFs.
Using aSIP - all DTMFs are correct speed doesnt matter.
Platform: HTC Desire, android 2.1 (rooted) - sip droid 1.4.7 (beta).
aSIP - 1.2.4 beta sipdroid.....
Account is to Asterisk 1.4.21.2 - connection WiFi or 3G.

Using the latest sipdroid 1.4.7, using pbxes.org account, DTMF does not work in
any
context. I can't enter my VM password or navigate any DTMF menus.
When I change absolutely nothing, and use x-lite softphone to connect to
pbxes.org
DTMF is sent perfectly.
This confirms that the problem indeed lies with sipdroid. DTMF does not work
over
3g or wifi with sipdroid, but works perfectly with x-lite with absolutely no
changes
made to account at pbxes.com
Sipdroid needs to have an option to select DTMF type, such as RFC2833

I use aSip 1.2.4 with a Gizmo5 account, Google Voice account, and GVoice
Callback
feature and can not get the touch tones to work either. I am currently running
on my
G1: HTCClays Superbad 1.4.1 (Eclair 2.1 Rom) and 2.22.23.02 Radio (lots more
extras
too) if that makes any difference. I am running everything WiFi currently (no
sim
card in the phone right now)..... If this is going to be a phone replacement,
this is
something that definitely needs to be fixed ASAP

Sipdroid 1.5.1 on Nexus One (AT&T) through Wifi only all the time and almost
all DTMF-based calls to most customer support 1-800 numbers don't work. Using
my Google Voice number with Gizmo5 SIP account registered on PBXes.org. I also
tried to use the PBXes.org's call transfer feature (requiring pressing ##) and
that doesn't work either. I think this issue should be marked high priority.

I am using a Droid (original) running 2.2.1 and DTMF does not work. I tried
calling another phone nearby and pressing the numberpad and it seems that it is
coming through as pulsed, rather than tone. I am calling through the automatic
Google Voice - PBxes setup.

Try this: don't check "use 3G" and don't check "use EDGE" only check "use Wifi"
Works fine on my Phone.

I'm experiencing this with sipdroid 2.3 beta on an acer iconia a500 with
Honeycomb 3.1
The call quality is exceptional but I can't send any options from kepyad (dtmf
tones) to my sipxecs server.
CSipSimple works fine - but call quality is poor compared to sipdroid

I also have problems with DTMF tones, it seems to repeat or break up. Perhaps
there is an echo. The receiving IVR has problems interpreting the tones
properly.

I'm having this issue with 2.3b on my Droid X. Have tried setting dtmf to
"Info" on pbxes.org for both extension and trunk. Only have use Wifi
checkmarked.

I was having this same issue but with mixed results depending on the conference
number or voice mail I was calling. The option that finally worked for me
was... Sipdroid > Settings > PBXes Features > Simultaneous Outbound (enable).
I'm not sure exactly what this settings does, but DTMF tones are now working
for me.
