Mid-call dial pad #215

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Not an issue but a request as I don't seem to find it when dialing out
using Sipdroid.

When a call is in progress, there is no dial pad for options. If I'm
calling a 1300 number and the prompt says "press 1 for, press 2 for," there
is no way for me to respond.

I've tried backing out of Sipdroid while call is in progress, going to the
built-in dialer and pressing the number there, but since my dialer and
Sipdroid don't integrate well (See issue 212), it doesn't seem to work.

I also have this problem with HTC Dream G1 - Android 1.5 - Sipdroid 1.2.1
I call in Wifi and it doesn't work, either with the virtual keyboard or the
build-in
keyboard.

I tried making the beep sounds myself, but alas, that didn't work. Haha.

Archos Android w. 1.6, v 1.3.14 there is still no way to access your vmail
using
SIPdroid. :-( It would be excellent if that dial pad was an icon in the
ongoing call
box (the one you drag down to end the call). Or another menu item. But
without this,
you can't navigate a PBX, nor pick up your vmail.

I run into the same issue on my Archos Android 1.6, Firmware v 1.7.XX. No dial
pad
during call and because of this, no voicemail :-/.
Is this a problem only on the archos 5 and can someone explain what is the
problem? I
think sipdroid have normally a DialPad during active calls?
Thanks

DTMF pad is available as soon as you are connected (not during dialing). If you
hear
a voice from the other side and Sipdroid is still in dialing state, it is an
other
problem and you should report it in new bug report.

Hi. I have an Archos 5 IT firmware version 2.0.38 with Android 1.6 and sipdroid
2.1. When I call someone I see only the slide to close the call. In the context
menu I see only: hold, speaker, mute, transfer, send video, end call. There is
no keypad. Please contact me if you need to connect remotely on the device. The
device has only 3 physical buttons: volume+, volume- and power.

DTMF Drawer ist not visible in landscape mode.

This should not be a problem on a Nexus One. You can easily turn into portrait.

For Archos tablets we have allowed orientation to be switched as well.

Would love to have a keypad; very limited without.

I have a Xoom (Honeycomb) and also have this problem with it. The Xoom will
not go into portrait orientation with Sipdroid while a call is in progress.
