great app,
Send me the necessary text and i'll be happy to assist.

Adi

Here are the English files. strings.xml contains the text for the app.
When you see %d in a string it means "a number will be inserted here" and
%s means a word.

For example "Search results for \'%s\'" will become "Search results for
'blog'". If it's not appropriate to 'quote' a term in your language then
you can remove the \' around %s.

Changes.txt is for the Android Market listing, that way the app can be
listed in your own language.

You can attach your completed files to this issue. Let me know if you have
any questions. Thanks so much for your help!

Thanks so much for opening the issue! I wish there was a way to attach the
files automatically...

Anyway, here they are. It looks like there's an Android Market in Hebrew so
you can do the market description too if you want.

This will be in the 0.6.3 build. A preview APK is posted to the 'Downloads'
page.

Usually you would choose your locale in the Android system settings. Hebrew is
officially supported in Android 2.3 and many local carriers will have modified
Android builds to support locales in their region even if the stock Android
doesn't support it.

I think it's possible to add a setting in GMarks to force a specific locale,
but I think that's rather uncommon. Seeing as how much support I've had from
the community I suppose I owe it to them to make those translations accessible.
Let me see if anyone else comes back to me with the same question.

Im using cm7 and chose Hebrew as my language, some of the system menus
changed to Hebrew but the Gmarks kept using English.
I removed the Gmarks, restart and reinstall, still no change in the menu,
but Gmarks used the Hebrew google site for sync.
The only reason for me to use the application in Hebrew is to test the
translation.

If you can send apk only with hebrew, in order to test.
Hebrew is difficult to predict, when left to right mixed with numbers.

Here's a build with Hebrew as the default translation. I noticed the string
"(unset)" is not translated.

Oddly enough, when I set the locale to Hebrew on my 2.3 emulator it didn't use
the Hebrew translation in the app. But then again, nothing in the emulator
changed to Hebrew, so I'm sort of confused as to what's going on.

this one, is working.
Hebrew looking good.

regard the (unset) it's really not necessary however the translation will be:
"לא ידוע" for unknown, or "לא קבוע" for not fixed/constant.

If you think it's OK then that's good enough for me! Thanks Adi! I plan to
release 0.6.3 soon.
