CSV export #174

I wonder why there is no CSV export. Personally I would prefer this over the more or less excel file.

How about using Google Docs to convert? It's free with a Google account and can open Excel files. From there you can export to CSV.

Well uploading a "diary" to a Google cloud seems not very reasonable to me... 😄

I just don't see a reason for using a proprietary format. Is there any feature used I did not see yet?

Ah, yes, not wanting your stuff on Google cloud is reasonable. Even though I'd trust cloud enough for a quick conversion.

You could also install OpenOffice - free and runs on all 3 major OSes. I can't speak for the dev but maybe used Excel because you don't have to worry about the delimiters as much or maybe dev was more comfortable with those libs.

Overall, I'm thankful for having such a complete open source app and would not pick on a minor thing as file format if free converters are available. For me, I can't get backups to work so I can't commit to using the app yet. I submitted a bug report.
