Favourite Connections & Databases

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I am developing some training material to work with different DBMSs. I routinely switch between a small number of connections & databases (well, one database in each connection).

Describe the solution you'd like

A way of adding a particular Server/Database combination to a collection. Preferably a way of adding these to the toolbar which hosts the connections and favourites etc.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Currently I use the connections dropdown.

Environment (please complete the following information):

• Device: Mac Mini M1
• OS: macOS 13.3.1 Ventura
• SQLPro app Version: SQLPro Studio Version 2023.35 (Build 111030.5) (Would apply to SQLPro for Oracle)
  • Installation source: App Store
  • Target database server: Any

I’ve thought about this a little more, and I wonder whether there would be a way of selecting the database from the Database Tree?

This is not something I'm currently planning on implementing as I feel it would overcomplicate the interface.
