Input Fails in Notepad++ #158

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

For some reason, Unicode input fails in Notepad++, even into UTF-8 or UTF-16
files. All letters appear as "?".

This is also an issue with WaitZar 1.7.

Haven't confirmed this on my laptop.

So far, this is the only application I've found that doesn't like WZ's use of
"SendInput". I'd like to find out why it doesn't work, though.... all other
programs (Word, OpenOffice, Firefox) don't mind.

Fun point: Notepad++ is based on Scintilla, and Scite was an app that would
occasionally crash when typing into it with WZ (and the wrong encoding set).

Coincidence?

Note: Keymagic (the actual program) also emits ??? in Notepad++.
