Hi Pam:

For us to better review this reported issue, may we request for you to mirror the scenario in the training environment to review.  Once this is setup, we can run through some of the testing to verify the current behavior via the IBE-test environment.

Thank You.

Subject: FW: IASCASE-21745 Voucher Redeemed by a different passenger

Hello,

I’ve reported this case to InteliSys where a voucher was redeemed through our IBE but the voucher used was assigned to a different person.

See below case details and InteliSys response.

Can I have you take a look at this please so that we ensure that there will be validation on voucher payments with the passenger names?

We can discuss this further on a call if that would help.

Thanks,

Pam

Case:

Hello,

This pnr #7BVYM9 under pax name MARAR, SNEHA was booked through our IBE with a voucher payment. The voucher serial #71W6WE6TEN was assigned to a different name, NAIR, ROHAN.

The voucher was supposed to be non-transferrable.

When I attempted to apply the same voucher again on AmeliaRes just to test, it rejected the payment.

So what happened why was the passenger MARAR, SNEHA able to book and use the voucher that is assigned to a different person?

Appreciate if you can look into this.

Thank you.

Pam

Hi Pamela Samson,
Our API provides the field LastName and FirstName within the paymentTransactions field, then it will verify these fields when using the voucher with quotations API or POST reservations API.

So Flair IBE should pass into these fields with the passenger information from the end-user. I assume they're (ABB) getting the voucher with the serial number then automatically apply the FirstName and LastName field from the GET voucher by key.

Note: it will return the below error message when the First Name/Last Name field does not match the passenger name of the voucher (for both PUT quotations and POST reservations API).

"message": "Voucher attempt failed validation. Passenger name not found for voucher. (-8)"

Please work with ABB to verify this.
Best regards,
Cuong Luu
