The package has been archived. Will there be another attempt to get it on CRAN?

It's not dead. There need to be some minor updates to appease the CRAN-lords. If anyone wants to start with this, please go ahead. Particular focus: Valgrind/sanitizers

I have no idea how I could possibly help you but I hope you will find the time to do the minor edits. It would be so sad to see the package die! (and if not on CRAN, many people will stop using it..)
