Check if image is loadable and if not use a default image #6

What do you need?
* Sometimes the an image specified in the annotations can't be loaded.
Right now kuria throws nasty exceptions and opens a dialog. It should be 
best to load an image, like a red square instead of nothing to indicate that 
somethings missing.
Additionally an error may be logged.
