I just wanted to comment that the preview image in a link, say this 9gag bot (https://social.undernet.uy/9gag) should be in 5:4 format, not square, it allows to rapidly watch image content in a more natural fashion since that aspect ratio is more common than square. It sure wont hurt the design since it is a bit wider than actual value. For your consideration.
