Other error coming, "Failed to initialize file logger. could not create file
handle."

It sounds like the saved state is corrupted. Can you send us the idbs, .BinDiff
and .BinExport files please? Did you rename any of them after saving the diff?
The error message gets triggered when we have a flow graph that is not attached
to the call graph. This never happens in normal operation.

Unfortunately I can't send you the file because the project is secret. I think
I've renamed a bunch of functions after saving the diff.
The problem is, when I recreate a diff, it crash again. How can I send you logs
?

Are you able to reproduce the issue with any other non secret files?

I'm trying to reproduce the issue, so far without success. I've diffed lua vs
lua-stripped and the other way around and looked at the luaV_execute in the UI.
Works as expected. I'll keep trying, but if you can think of anything else that
may be related to the failure it would be much appreciated.

You think perhaps it could be because I have other plugins ? I'm in vacation
now and can't access my work computer, will keep you posted in 2 weeks.

Hi Jon,
we have fixed the issue in the latest version of our plugins - at least it
works on a Windows 8 VM with IDA 6.8. Please message me your full email address
(mine is cblichmann@google.com) so I can share the new binaries with you.
Christian

Hi Christian, unfortunately it still crashing. It's because I was on a bindiff
version 4.1. I downloaded the 4.2 and now it's working.
Thanks a lot.
Regards,
Jon
