With all credit going to @ahdinosaur, this PR builds on top of #142 and supersedes it to replace embedded-time with fugit. It also ups use of embedded-hal to "=1.0.0-alpha.8" with associated changes to the introduced ErrorTrait. Lastly, due to breaking nature of changes, package versions are upped to 0.6.0.
