Right now, it is only possible to incorporate naturally ventilated buildings in hot conditions by setting the cooling setpoint high and greatly increasing the ventilantion. While I generally agree with this method of setting a flow rate, we should really have the ability to specify an indoor temperautre setpoint for when the windows open or close. This way, we can incorporate theeffect of naturally ventilated buildings on the whole year.
I feel that one of the main questions that the UWG was built to answer was whether we should be equipping our cities with AC or still clinging to natural ventilation as we enter into this very warm and urbanized period of the earth. The fact that we could get so close to this answer and not put such critical capabilities is something I feel we should fix soon.
