Have a RT-N56U running firmware version 3.4.3.9-099_32a93db. Performance for IPv4 is great and works as expected with NAT offload enabled for LAN and WLAN.
However if the traffic is IPv6 both Download and Upload performance poorly. (about 50% of the same tested speed in IPv4). Used iPerf3 to test with multiple streams to a server in the ISP.
Is it known any performance issues related to IPv6 in the model of router and firmware version ?
If not mistaken this router has a RealkTek chip which. I have seen in other router models RealTek chips causing performance degradation to IPv6 traffic. In some cases the vendor was able to resolve with RealkTek assistance and usage of a newer SDK. Could it be related in this case ?
