I asked the same on DistroTube's review video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wtnm7VFXWzI), no response yet. It would be helpful to have some explanation.

Hi, The script can work in environments other than arch. However some users doubt that the generated appimage may not work on other distros due to shared library issues. When i used some of the generated appimages on linux mint they worked. So you would have to see for yourself here if the app works or not
