maybe look into using the newer Java framework instead of older Java code; plan is still to run this on AWS again; ends up about $30/month for renting a server; could use a HelioCloud instance for testing; would need to find an institution to support it long-term
Sandy look into why this can't be run on HelioCloud.
eclipse.helioviewer.net seems to do that.
Would be nice to have place to host verifier (small EC2), plot-server (run from Bob's mini at home), web interface for hapi-server.org/servers (small EC2), URLWatcher hapi server (small EC2), SSCWeb hapi server (small EC2), etc. All mentioned that run on small EC2 cost ~$20/month and are run out of Bob's AWS.
Jeremy and Nobes might work on this to get it running on Jeremy's server or HelioCloud. Potential issues: find data at APL and see if it is still accessible outside via http find code base at APL (subversion projects for HAPI and also Cassini reading software)
The goal is to make a .war file from the various sources.
