Safari 5.1beta will not display fields #31

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Upgrade to Safari 5.1beta
2. Restart your Mac
3. Open up SOAP client
4. Parse a WSDL file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to see the fields from my WSDL file. Instead, I see a blank blue panel.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

OS 10.6.7, Safari 5.1beta, SOAP Client <every version I tried>.

Please provide any additional information below.

My WSDL file is fine, it parses okay. Nothing else has changed, other than the
Safari update.

I even recompiled SOAP Client from source, put in some NSLog statements, and it
is generating the HTML fine to render the view containing all of the fields
etc, but nothing shows.

Also happening to me. I'm having a dig through the source code now to see
what's what. As the OP says, its generating the HTML fine, but what he doesn't
say is that the HTML won't render in any modern browser, so I think its a
simple HTML / JS issue here.

I've fixed the issue. You can download a 10.6.8 or 10.7 compatible version
attached to this issue. Source code here:

I had the same problem; downloaded SOAPClient-10.7compatible and it's working
for me on 10.7. Nice one!

I can confirm that the timperret version works. However, I am not closing the
ticket, as this is not merged back into this tree.

I still have a problem, it parses the wsdl but when I execute it, it prompts me
for a username and password then it crashes.

Is the maintainer of this project planning on putting out an update that
incorporates this fix?
