I have tested this with a dual-white bulb FUT017 paired to a virtual remote FUT007.
(Note: my bulb also pairs to e.g. the FUT092 virtual remote and actually works rather better as CommandSetRgbwwV6 because the single-stepping is not used. However, I am not sure that all dual-white bulbs will do this pairing.)
