NullpointerException with JDK8 and Tomcat 8.0.5 #581

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Deploy the App
2. Start the Application-Server
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
  Exptected: No Exception
  Instead:
    unable to initialize pwm due to configuration related error: null

What version of PWM are you using?
1.7.1

I think that I have already read that ther ist a different behaviour of 
ervletContext.getRealPath in Tomcat7 and Tomcat8.

Tomcat 8 is not supported for 1.7.1, please try a nightly build. Not sure about 
Java 8.
