no authorization #4

Hi Harald,

after definition of some new roles and correlated groupmanager pages, nothing goes on these pages any more without admin permission. issue

And I don't know how to solve it. So what can I do?

Dear Juergen, thank you for your mail. Actually I am completely out of touch with DokuWiki by now. And I have nothing in place anymore for testing. How did you create these pages? On the file-system or from within DokuWiki? What is the Unix-user? Dit you have a look at users.auth.php and acl.auth.php whether rights are assigned as expected? I am also not sure whether the authorization backend has not changed significantly since I wrote groupmanager. Did you upgrade above Adora Belle? Maybe groupmanager needs modification for the Auth Plugins. I would be happy if you would like to adopt groupmanager; I am very sure I will no longer work on it, but it served me very well at the time and I hoped it would be of use to others. Maybe somebody of the core team might think it could be of value to more people and rewrite it better than I could have. All the best, Harald

Hi Harald, the pages were created within Dokuwiki. With admin rights I have no problems, therefore I think the users.auth.php and acl.auth.php are correct. Our release is "2014-09-29d Hrun". What a shame, that you have not enough time for this great plugin any more. My knowledge of programming php is nearly at zero, so I hope that this plugin will be kept alive by someone like you.
