I had considered it, but I figured it would be okay considering they are generally not long enough of invincibility periods to pull Mithrix out of combat. My advice for loader is just to keep your pylon ready for when such a phase occurs. But I'll do some tinkering with it regardless. Possibly tone down health regen of all characters with inflated health (elites, bosses).
I had tried your advice actually. The problem is getting that close is extremely dangerous itself too. The merc doesn't really have much of a chance. But yeah, inflated HP healing is pretty crazy because of the percentage gain. I think it's fine currently for regular enemies, and maybe even elites but bosses have a problem for characters who like to 'set up' large attacks like the Loader.
There's a combination of things going on here. Mithrix has a number of attacks/states which render him effectively invulnerable (or suicide to attack). The relatively quick regen interval for monsters means that it's easily possible to watch him gain a huge amount of HP just because the player cannot effectively attack him when he's doing his 'starburst' and sky jump attacks. I like Diluvian but this is kind of ridiculous. It's especially egregious for Merc and Loader, who REALLY can't get close enough to attack him in these states. I suggest that for Mithrix the interval before regen kicks in is increased, or if possible, it doesn't count time spent in these states towards it.
