Starting a run with unkown difficulty breaks other difficulties #9

Discovered this because of my other post. Starting a run in the unknown difficulty causes all other runs to have the "You're not ready yet" debuffs that makes the run unplayable. Quitting the main menu doesn't fix this, the game has to be fully restarted for this bug to stop happening.
