The activities button on left top panel is gone. It's now replaced by a workspace switcher quite useful.
When Unite is enabled, the workspace switcher disappears.

A way to keep the workspace switcher ?
There was a way to keep the activities button, I'd now expect to find the workspace switcher there, instead of the ( useless ) activities button.
Describe alternatives you've considered
If the top left position is a problem, I wouldn't mind finding it at the right of the clock/calendar.

…and while writing this, I've just found how to achieve that, so here is the trick :
…so maybe all what's needed is to change the texts « Hide the activities button » and « Use text in activities button » ?
Something like « Revive old activities button » and « Hide workspace switcher » ?
