Funny - I got the same question on the very same day from a very different user :smiley:
I fully agree that the documentation should be optimized, so it will be easy to print. I have already checked how to do it and it can be done using CSS's media query (print type) using display: none !important;
statement. I believe that should be enough as today browsers also allow to save the page as PDF right away.
What do you think?
It could work maybe, please try... Actual use of "Print to PDF" using latest Firefox, Xubutnu leaves an ugly empty space on every page.
Okay, let's focus on the new docs and optimize that part. I am sure it is doable via CSS. Thanks.
Is there any module for the site generator which would pregenerate PDF version of every documentation page or at least provided some 'Print this page' function, which would generate printing friendly version (with JS in user's browser)?
I would really appreciate this as a docs user, because sometimes I want to make notes to tutorials (or simply have a printed document).
