Deals in Spider #12

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Requesting a way to display number of deals left in spider. Sometimes
returning to a saved game is confusing because I don't remember how many
deals I used (and play strategy changes depending on how many deals left).
I would suggest just using text (like the timer).

Here's a small patch that implements what I requested.

I agree this is a good idea but unfortunately can not accept patch contributions
unless you would be willing to sign a CLA (something my employer requires,
IANAL but
essentially it grants them access to your patch while you still retain
ownership). If
you are not interested in signing one, I can probably go ahead and write the
code
myself as it is a fairly simple change.

I may be willing to sign one (the patch I submitted is pretty trivial, but I've
been
hacking away trying to implement a new CardAnchor class that could make
implementing
more card games even easier), but I would like to ask a couple of questions
first
(who the employer is, other aspects of the CLA and contributing). Though,
because
contact info is obfuscated, I'm unable to contact you through gmail - how
should we
handle this?

Fixed in revision 16. I just added it in myself. It seemed like the simpler way
to go.
