TwoUse EMFText installation troubles #8

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install EMFText via update site
2. install TwoUse via update site

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The installation of TwoUse is not possible because of version conflicts of
EMFText. The reverse is not possible too (install TwoUse then EMFText)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Helios on WindowsVista

Please provide any additional information below.

Dear cyril.faucher,

which are the versions of the plug-ins?

Currently if you try to install TwoUse after EMFText, it doesn't work.
An example :
from EMFText update site: org.emftext.language.sparql_1.0.0.v201007061510
from TwoUse update site: org.emftext.language.sparql_1.0.0.201008311818

Maybe, I am wrong.

Hi cyril.faucher,

that is true, you have to uninstall the sparql language from EMFText. It has no
impact in your work since we provide also the sparql language.

Hi Fernando,

I have tried this solution, but that is not enough. Other dependencies are not
compatible. Thus, to install TwoUse I have uninstalled EMFText.

Best regards,
Cyril.
