I second this. I keep a subset of my collection in a cloud share synced between work machines and the provider uses a metadata directory that sometimes holds on to deleted music, at least until I clean it out.
Being able to block these dirs from being indexed would be a nice feature to have...

Hi. I just discovered this beautiful and majestic app. It would be even better if it allowed subfolders to be excluded from indexing.
I have a folder with many songs organized in many folders. Some of them have two versions of songs. For example, an album folder has two subfolders where the first one has songs in WAV format and the second one in MP3 format. Since there is no way to exclude subfolders, both versions are indexed, and both versions appear in the application.
My current solution is to save those folders separately but now my folders are kind of ugly. I mean, I'm one of those weird people who likes to have their folders a certain way and a feature to exclude subfolders would suit me like a glove.
