One Canvas: A Decentralized Collaborative Canvas on Harmony One #50

Description

One canvas is a 1 million pixel decentralized canvas where users can paint individual pixels on a collaborative canvas. This concept is similar to pixelcanvas.io but instead each pixel is stored on the harmony protocol.

Context

How it works

The canvas consists of 1 million pixels that can be individually colored. When users color a pixel they are prompted with a transaction to store the color of the pixel on chain for a small fee. To recolor a pixel a user must a pay a higher price then the previous painter. The previous painter is then returned their initial fee and plus the difference of the new painting fee.

Example

  1. Painter A paints pixel (0,0) blue for a fee of 1 $One
  2. Painter B wants to paint pixel (0,0) red, the cost to paint pixel (0,0) is now 1.25 $One
  3. Painter B paints pixel (0,0) red for 1.25 $One
  4. Painter A is deposited 1.25 $One

Acceptance Criteria

The full One Canvas dApp is running on Harmony mainnet with all of its functionalities. At least 500 users/addresses interact with the dApp.

Hi @chrisneuf I am interested working on this (in fact have done some minor preliminary work), but was wondering on how I could contact you on the harmony discord for further clarifications.

My particular query is on the criteria of At least 500 users/addresses interact, I would like to avoid this part of the acceptance criteria and do more of a handover of the work done, please do let me know your thoughts.

Hi @SkArchon this project is already being worked on by me, I am not on the harmony team. The harmony team is funding me to build this project.
