Sign in button not working – Brave/Chrome on 16" M1 macbook #115

My setup

Hardware: MacBook Pro 16" 2021 M1Max, 24GPU, 32GB RAM macOS: 12.1 Brave version: V1.34.80 Chromium 97.0.4692.71 Harmony Chrome Extension Wallet: 1.2.5

What's happening?

Going to https://staking.harmony.one/onewallet shows me the Sign in button but clicking it does absolutely nothing. If I just try to Explore with any address, enter my own, and then try to e.g. claim the rewards, the popup appears saying:

invalid is blocked
This page has been blocked by Brave
ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

What I've tried to resolve the issue?

  1. Switched to Chrome – same issue
  2. Tried different screen resolutions – same issue
  3. Tried the solutions proposed in this Reddit's post – same issue
  4. I did enable popups in Brave, did not install any ad blocker, and even have the Brave's shield off on staking.harmony.one

I decided to see what's actually happening under the hood when I click the Sign in button, by going to brave://extensions/?id=fnnegphlobjdpkhecapkijjdkgcjhkib, enabling Developer mode in the top right corner, and clicking background page under the Inspect views. There is one error message appearing when the Sign in button is clicked:

Error handling response: TypeError: Error in invocation of windows.create(optional object createData, optional function callback): Error at parameter 'createData': Error at property 'top': Invalid type: expected integer, found number.

Could we please investigate this issue? It seems that I'm not the only one affected (e.g. see post on r/harmony_one). It might lead to new users not being able to properly use Harmony, which would be a big shame.

I have the same issue with the same error running on Ubuntu 20.04 but for me property was 'left' not top

I get the exact same error pop up when on staking website and trying to unstake. please help asap. Just want to transfer funds and restake in smaller valdiators
