@harmonyrose, I believe you wanted an example of the bullet points we're creating for each "competitor" paper. Here's what I got for Gao:

• forecasting elections, not merely modeling them (like we and Laver do).
• choose voting strategies based on how close they reproduce actual election results, unlike us who experiment with different distributions of strategies to understand overall qualitative effect of this distribution on outcomes.
• use socio-demographic indicators for voters and candidates, plus real-world shock events, from real-world data sets. By contrast, we are focused on the “issue-based voters” subset in order to isolate and analyze this component.
• use “voting preference intervals” which adjust over time on a per-agent basis

Hey @harmonyrose, let's create a "child note" in Zotero for each paper in the Lit search exercise folder, where we add the bullet points vis-a-vis above. I just added that for Gao, and gave it the title "Diff from us:".
