Unable to hear text messages when the screen is off #297

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. turn off the screen
2. send text message
3. unable to hear the text message
4. turn screen on, still unable to hear the message

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Used to be able to have the text messages read out loud

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Samsung  SGH-T759
Firmware 2.3.4
Baseband T759UVKE8
Kernel 2.6.35.7- T759UVKE8-CL205219
Build ULTIMOBLE-T259-2.3.4-PLA-081612-1.5

Please provide any additional information below.
When the screen is off and the client gets a text message, it will not read the 
message.
Even after the screen is back on, it still wont read the message.
I have even installed the older version of talkback and still the same thing.

Checked both the Accessibility Settings and the TalkBack's Global Context Menu 
to make sure the "Speak when screen is off" is marked.

I'm not able to reproduce this issue as of the latest version of TalkBack.
