It seems like the current wording of FR2 might be leaning a bit into the how rather than the what by specifying the use of a "diffusion model" for processing CXR images.
A functional requirement typically focuses on the outcome — what the system needs to do — without getting into specific implementation details. Maybe rewording FR2 to focus on the goal of detecting disease-specific patterns could make it more abstract and aligned with the role of functional requirements.
