Greetings, I know this is a bit dirty, but please consider this pull request which has several commits. I have tested only once in a pristine environment but should address the issues like Doesn't work #22.

I'm trying this on a fresh install of the latest raspbian release and although I can connect to the raspberry network and use the internet, the raspberry itself lost the ethernet connection
