5 months ago Have a flick button to swap MARC table between full and minimal view, default to minimal view?
Fields required for minimal cataloguing:
- Title.
- Author.
- Publication details.
- 300s.
- 880s.
- Subjects.
Can also drop or never show the following from any record
- Disregard 776, (260/264 are same), 250, 63,64,68,72,78,79
Would have to work out which these are, but users indicated they're not all needed, so would definitely be helpful to remove some of them as good records have a lot of MARC fields. If we don't have to display them all then that makes selection easier.
Tie this in with another issue - can't remember which, maybe working out what the standard process for choosing a good record is? Things that fall a long way outside this aren't helpful fields?
