Amatic shows euro sign as 0 in IE8 #248

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Insert € in text that is shown in amatic.
2. Shows up as 0 when I test it in IE8
3. Use html entity instead (& euro ; ). Same result

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

IE8 on Windows XP 32 bit professional

Please provide any additional information below.

Works perfectly in all other browsers
