Feature Request: Three finger double tap for moving windows #204

Open gamemode-3 opened 1 year ago

gamemode-3 commented 1 year ago

Double tap + hold with three fingers to move windows. As soon as the second tap occurs and the fingers are moved, the window is "grabbed" and it gets released when the fingers are lifted

Should not interfere with existing behaviour because three finger double taps have no specific behaviour right now, it just does what it would if you tapped once.

Could be bundled into the "Window Manipulation" setting.

I would love to see this as an option.

This is called three-finger-drag. It is an optional gesture in Macbook settings. Usually, what happens in Macbooks, when you enable three-finger-drag gesture, all you three-finger-swipe gestures becomes four-finger-swipe gestures.

I thinks this is why OP wanted to see it as "three-finger-double-tap", added a "double" there. I think both should be options. I wouldn't use it as double-tap, but I would use it as "three-finger-drag". But for those who wants to use their three-finger-swipe gestures, there can be an option.
