I've been having difficulties installing this on a RaspberryPi 5. I've noticed the install.sh script modifies only /boot/config.txt (rather than the newer /boot/firmware/config.txt directory).

I'm personally still having issues with the screen rotation with this setup that I'm working on. RaspberryPi 5, Waveshare 2.8 DSI, RaspberryPi OS 6.6.20.

The fix for the screen rotation issue for me, is that DSI-1 (as is listed on the board) is infact DSI-2 in the OS. Therefore in the 90-monitor.conf, I've had to list that as DSI-2.

Last note, the touch interface didn't rotate with the screen. So had to amend: 40-libinput.conf

under the touchscreen catchall Option "CalibrationMatrix" "0 -1 1 1 0 0 0 0 1"
