Emoticons without toolbar #40

Hello, First thanks a lot for this plugin. Just installed it and discovered that there is an issue with emoticon toolbar for my version (Redmine 4.2.2). Is there any workaround ? I mean, if I cannot use emoticons from the toolbar, haw to insert them directly in the text ? I have tried :(!): for the warning, with not success Thanks in advance for help. Dn

I happen to be running redmine 4.2.3 and am using the extension download from this commit and emoticons are working for me. https://github.com/haru/redmine_wiki_extensions/commit/8671acdf26ca743cac6a54adffc611cfa21599cd

I have tried :(!): for the warning, with not success

Note emoticons need a space after them, to work. So (!) would work but (!): won't

Thanks a lot @jcormier for your reply I am running Redmine 4.2.2.stable And I followed your advice and downgraded to release 0.9.3, which is supposed to include the commit you pointed to, with no more success, alas. I have removed the spaces around the emoticons, of course.

The commit I linked to is before the 0.9.3 tag. specifically before the rails 6 changes, not sure if that makes a difference.
