Tick marks rendering in top and right sides too #530

Hello,

I just started a project in my company and I am running into a problem that I have never encountered when using plotnine from my personal laptop. I believe it has to do with the versions of the libraries I am using since that is the only major difference I can see between the two machines but I am not a coding expert by any means.

The issue is the following: when plotting, tick marks are being created at every margin of the panel instead of just the left and bottom one. I am using the themes from plotnine.

The following code:

Along with it, this message is printed:

Unfortunately I cannot update the libraries any further, so I would like to know if there is any work around as I spend a whole day yesterday trying to fix with without success.

Another question I also tried to figure out but couldn't is, how do I increase the white space between the title and the panel?
