@mushon I am willing to give up on my original thought to include here not only the research result but also a weekly trend of reports, took it out of the list.
Check proposed design: https://zpl.io/aXvMd4E
@mushon
users won't understand dots are calendar (I am certain, as one potential user actually asked me what are they).
Also, I think we should consider to show the connection between the value (13) to the level. Maybe even moving the number next to the label -
maybe something like
ש ו ה ד ג ב א
o o o o o o o
o o o o o o o
o o o o O
17
@mushon also
@mushon last point (hopefully): some polygons are very narrow or very tight. Please show the polygon hover color/border effect as well.
I made some updates to the design. Mainly the days would appear to complete the week block for the start and the end of the weeks:
Reports starting on a Sunday would have the previous week as labels:
In the first milliseconds the calendar would load to indicate the time context:
In English we would still use Sunday-Saturday layout as this is how we live in Israel:
The hover effect would manipulate the border of the polygon:
I think it's good to go… https://zpl.io/aXvMd4E

I think it is overcomplicated for the standard user: you assume they will catch the relations between the first row and the last row of the calendar. Why not keep it simple, like in this example?
(accepted and updated the description with all the other suggestions)
Also, you skipped these two comments:
- please clarify if X reports this week means starting Sunday, or during the last 7 days.
I would change to בשבוע האחרון
- enable long city/town - maybe leave 2 lines for that

It’s possible, but it would cost us another line. Maybe that’s ok.
