Proposal: Simplify Domain Name for Better UX #764

Suggestion

I would like to propose simplifying our current domain name, https://open-bus-map-search.hasadna.org.il/dashboard, as it is currently too long and presents several usability challenges, here are some key reasons for this suggestion:

Benefits of a Shorter Domain Name

  1. Enhanced User Experience: Shorter domain names are easier for users to remember and type, a less technologically capable user might have trouble trying to enter the domain name.
  2. Memorability: Concise domain names are more memorable and recognizable, making it easier for users to share it among eachother.
  3. Improved SEO: Shorter domain names tend to perform better in search engine rankings, boosting our visibility.

Proposed Alternatives:

  1. databus.hasadna.org.il
  2. openbus.hasadna.org.il
  3. openbus.co.il
  4. databus.co.il etc...

I can set subdomains on hasadna.org.il, let me know which one you want

For a dedicated domain you need to talk with Dorit regarding purchasing a domain

@OriHoch Personally, I think having the subdomain databus.hasadna.org.il is the best option right now, I'll ask Dorit for her opinion on Monday. Thanks!
