Remember that the main problem with the OS tools is that they don't support comparison.

Dani: I don't see this as related to your/our work on viz.
Open Spending has a suite of javascript visualization tools:
https://github.com/openspending/openspendingjs
There is easily a dedicated project to use one or many of such tools and visualize Open Muni Budgets data through them. The results of such project(s) can be displayed in the gallery, or, if applicable, integrated more fully into the Open Muni Budgets web app.
